MCC Foundation Golf Tournament Expands Successful Luxury Leather Raffle

The McLennan Community College Foundation is hosting a Luxury Leather Raffle in conjunction with its annual golf tournament to support MCC student scholarships. The raffle, sponsored by Allen Samuels Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, features four pairs of high-quality leather boots from Tecovas Waco, including Annie women’s boots, Daisy women’s booties, Doc goat broad square toe boots for men, and Austin alligator cowboy boots for men. The raffle also features a black leather duffle bag from King Ranch Saddle Shop and a Lucchese cowhide briefcase.

Raffle tickets are $20 each when purchased online at https://bit.ly/MCCLeatherRaffle. Tickets purchased in person are $20 each or six for $100. In-person purchases may be made Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the MCC Foundation office, 1728, Powell Drive, or at the 37th Annual Golf Classic on Friday, Oct. 6 at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course. Participants must choose the items on which they wish to bid when purchasing raffle tickets. Winners may exchange items for a style or size at Tecovas Waco, Lucchese in Fort Worth, or King Ranch Saddle Shop in Fort Worth. Winners need not be present to win.

Proceeds support scholarships for students pursuing excellent, local higher education at McLennan Community College. Last year’s Luxury Leather Raffle raised more than $6,000 for students, prompting the prize pool and winning opportunities to be expanded for this year. With your help, this year could be even more successful. Tickets purchased help build the workforce of tomorrow by keeping excellent local education affordable for students.
